The handling is deliberately arcade-first. Water response, camera movement, sound and haptics work together to make acceleration, impact and landing readable on a phone—not to imitate a boating simulator.

Choose the craft that fits the route.
Powerboat, jet ski, RIB, hydrofoil and hovercraft each trade top speed, acceleration and handling differently. The hovercraft can cut across land and platforms that stop other vehicles—turning some obstacles into opportunities.

About the locations: Loch Racer’s environments are original, stylised scenes inspired by the atmosphere and broad character of real Scottish lochs. They are designed for arcade racing and are not intended to be exact geographic, navigational or architectural representations.

Loch Ness brings darker water, longer bursts of speed and the chance of an unexpected spectator. A sighting is never guaranteed.

Effective 19 September 2026. Loch Racer is designed as an offline-first game. Nuifish does not operate a player account, race-data cloud or advertising profile for the app.

Race data and preferences
Personal bests, lap times, ghost recordings, settings and purchase-session information used by the app are stored locally on your device. Nuifish does not receive your races or ghost data.
In-app purchases
The optional Beyond the Starting Line purchase and restoration are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process account and transaction information under its own privacy policy. Nuifish does not receive your full payment details.
Network use
Core racing requires no account, backend or network connection. Contacting Apple to retrieve products, make a purchase or restore an entitlement requires Apple’s store services. Loch Racer does not currently provide online leaderboards or global ghosts.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
Loch Racer does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking or a Nuifish analytics service. Apple may handle ordinary App Store, operating-system and diagnostic information according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.
Haptics, sound and controls
Music, sound, haptic and control preferences affect the experience on your device. These choices are not sent to Nuifish. Haptic feedback uses device capabilities only while you play.
Deletion and retention
Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to the normal behaviour of your device and any backups you independently control. Purchase restoration is handled through Apple and may remain associated with your Apple account.
Children
Nuifish does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other Loch Racer players. The game does not include user chat, public profiles or user-generated content sharing.
Policy changes
If Loch Racer’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and a new effective date will be shown. Material new online features will be described before their release.
